Medical & Permanent Impairment Assessments can be conducted in-person or via Telehealth.
Did you know that you DO NOT need a diagnosis prior to submitting your claims.
Lodge your claims through your MyService Portal and request a "Diagnostic Assessment" from your DVA Delegate.

Health Practitioners require a DVA issued request and Transaction Reference Number (TRN) to be able to invoice DVA directly for services related to compensation claims. This includes GPs, Imaging Providers and Specialists. To ensure you are not out-of-pocket for the cost of medical appointments and investigations associated with obtaining a diagnosis for your claim, please ensure you obtain a DVA issued medical assessment request and TRN, prior to requesting an appointment.
