COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH ASSESSMENTS

MENTAL HEALTH

​Modern life is placing the mental health of many men under strain. This can manifest in many different ways. As GP's we are often the first point of contact for those who are suffering. We see the whole picture, we are skilled at assessing your situation and together we will formulate a plan to help you get back to a better place. Dr. Sam has completed additional training in the area of mental health and focused psychological strategies.

SEXUAL HEALTH

Men are often embarrassed to talk to their doctor about their sexual health. There is no need to be, this stuff is common and we have seen it all before. Whether you are worried about libido, performance or a rash, we are here to help. 

SKIN CANCER CHECKS & SKIN CONCERNS

Rates of skin cancer in Queensland are some of the highest in the world. Our GP's are well experienced in providing care in this area. We offer regular skin checks, biopsies of suspicious lesions and complete excision if required.
Dr. Sam has a particular interest in dermatology and was the recipient of the Deakin University Award for Dermatology in 2016. He can assist with any skin related concerns including rashes, acne, eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.

IV IRON INFUSIONS

Replete stores of iron are essential to optimal health. For those who are iron deficient and are unsuccessful with oral replacement, we can provide IV iron infusion.

PREVENTATIVE MEDICINE / LONGEVITY

This is an emerging area of medicine that Dr. Sam has a particular interest in. He can provide a full assessment of your current health status and offer guidance and strategies to ensure the prevention of chronic disease and optimal functioning into old age.

WEIGHT LOSS

Medication options are available to assist with weight loss. When partnered with diet and exercise, these can be very powerful treatments.

HAIR LOSS

Various medications are available to assist with preventing hair loss and encourage hair regrowth.

SMOKING CESSATION & NICOTINE PRESCRIPTION

Our GPs offer smoking cessation counselling and are Authorised Prescribers of nicotine vape products. Recent legislative changes mean nicotine vape products will only be available with a prescription from your doctor and available for purchase through a pharmacy.

EAR IRRIGATION

An effective method of ear wax removal for those who have a buildup of wax. Symptoms of excessive ear wax include hearing loss, a feeling of blocked or clogged ears, or pain.

INGROWN TOENAIL SURGERY

Dr. Sam is able to perform procedures to cure recurrent ingrown toenails.

VETERAN DVA CLAIMS

Our GPs can assist with the completion of DVA issued medical assessments for compensation claim matters, including Diagnostic Assessments and Permanent Impairment Assessments. ​
